There's no charge to browse, bid on or buy items at GNESO. But you
do pay fees to list and sell items. Read on to learn about Listing
Fees, Final Sale of Item Fees, PayPal, re-listing an item, and the
GNESO payment terms.
GNESO

of 5% at the end of an auction. No calculated fees will be
assessed and no listing fees will be charged. - added 4/7-03
Note — Fees pay for the right to sell an item(s) on GNESO. You do
not purchase any exclusive rights to a Web page on GNESO. GNESO may,
in our sole discretion, and without your consent or payment to you,
place third party advertisements on any Web page within our site.
GNESO Listing Fees
When you list your item for sale at GNESO, you pay a non-refundable
Listing Fee. Listing Fees vary by the type of listing you choose:
·Regular Listings (Auction or Fixed Price)
For auction-style items the Listing Fee is based on the minimum bid
for your item.
However, for fixed price items, the Listing Fee is based on the Buy
Now price for your item.
·Reserved Price Auction Listings
The Reserve Price Listing Fee is based upon the reserve price of the
item you list for sale. These Listing Fees are non-refundable.
Minimum Bid, Buy Now (Fixed) price, Opening Value or Reserved Price
Listing Fees
$0.01 - $9.99 is $0.50
$10.00 - $24.99 is $1.00
$25.00 - $49.99 is $1.50
$50.00 - 199.99 is $5.00
$200.00 and up is $10.00
Final Sale of Item Fees
At the end of an auction, you will be charged a Final Sale of Item
Fee based upon the final sale price of your item:
·Regular and Reserved Price Auctions (when your reserve price has
been met) The ending auction value is the closing bid. Remember,
there is no Final Sale of Item Fee charged if the Reserved Price is
not met.
·The final value is the Buy Now (Fixed) price of your listing. If
your Fixed Price listing is multiple quantities, the Final Value Fee
will be calculated for each sold item, also based on the Buy Now
price.
Here's how you can calculate your Final Sale of Item Fee:
·If your item sold for $50.00 or less, the Final Sale of Item Fee
is 5% of the final sale price.
·If you item sold for more than $50.00, please follow the next
steps:
1.Take 5% of the first $50.00 of your final sale price.
2.Take the additional amount from $50.01 to $1,000, and calculate
2.75% from that amount.
Note: If your item did not sell for more than $1,000, please add
your calculated results from above. This will be your final Sale of
Item fee.
3.If your final value was is than $1,000, take that additional
amount and calculate 1.5% of the remaining amount.
4.Add the amounts together, from steps 1, 2, and 3, and you have
your Final Sale of Item Fee!

Re-listing an Item
The majority of transactions on GNESO are completed successfully!
But, if your item doesn't sell the first time around, GNESO can
help.
You can usually re-list an item a second time for free. Since this
offer is only good for one re-listing, you'll want to get it right
the second time! You may want to come up with a better title, alter
the bid price scale, or add a more information about the item.
Additionally, be sure to remove the prior listing to minimize
confusion and “double posting”. If help is needed, contact ADMIN@NE-SMOKEOUT.com
and type “RE-LISTING HELP” in the header of the email.
Paying Your GNESO Seller Fees
There are two different ways to pay your GNESO fees:
·GNESO Instant Pay: GNESO Instant Pay is the easiest and most
convenient way to make payment on your GNESO account. Simply click
on the PAYPAL Logo and make your payment. If you do not have an
account with PayPal, do not fret, just sign up! It’s Free!
Note: When making your payment, be sure to enter the correct TOTAL
amount so that you will not be sent an invoice.
·Check and Money Order Payment: GNESO also accepts payment by check
and money order. When making payment by check and/or money order it
is required to submit a copy of your invoice along with your
check/money order and mail it to the address on the form.
GNESO requires payment in full each cycle on accounts with a balance
of $1.00 or greater.
Invoicing Procedures and Payments
All invoicing is completed at the end of each week. Payments of
invoices are on a NET 15 cycle. That is, you have 15 days from date
of the invoice to pay your balance. PayPal Invoices will be used
unless otherwise indicated/requested in writing. That is, a REQUEST
FOR PAYMENT INVOICE will be emailed to the seller. By responding to
the email, the seller can make their payment instantly. If the
seller so chooses, they may print the invoice out and send the
payments via snail mail to Al Martin, PO BOX 3164, Nashua NH, 03060.
In the event you do not receive an invoice, you are still
responsible for your payment. Please check your account status by
sending an email to ACCOUNTS@NE-SMOKEOUT.COM
for your current account balance.
Failure to Make Payment on Your GNESO Account
GNESO requires payment in full each month on accounts with balances
of $1.00 or greater. You will be billed a monthly finance charge of
1%, if your account becomes past due. Additionally, if your account
becomes 120 days past due, your account may be suspended for
non-payment, and you may be responsible for collection/legal costs.
Remember, accounts containing a balance will be sent a STATEMENT
each month. Full Payment is expected upon receipt. Failure to make
timely payments will suspend your rights to the GNESO Auctions.
The aforementioned policies and rules cover and hold true and
binding for The Great New England Smoke Out (GNESO, NESO) as well as
The New England Cigar Smoking Society (NECSS) and all their
Charters/Chapters. |
