I'm glad to hear this, but I find it hard to believe. Why? It's not unusual for her to be responding to treatment. Cancer is a roller coaster - tons of up and downs. Maybe this is her up time. I know a few people who have basically beat lung cancer - like 20 years later and cancer-free.  But they were very small and treatable tumors, wth part of lung removed, and that was essentially that.  However, in this case, if it is true the initial prognosis was grim, that is not too good for the long term. But even with the worst statistics, there are people who beat the odds.

And if anyone can beat the odds, it's Dana.  She's young, and she developed this disease, I believe, as a result of imuno-suppression during a prolonged period of stress.  Being a carer for a disabled person is really tough when it goes on for years and years.  It's not unusual for the carer to become ill.   A lot of that stress is gone from her life, now, and I'm pulling for her.  She can beat this.  She can.
